Fathering Our Future is dedicated to helping dads. In a world that tends to downplay fathers, *Fathering Our Future* exists to help dads understand they are essential and far more influential than they realize.
The goal is to help dads become the dads their children need and the dads God designed them to be. To achieve this, the focus is on three foundational areas:
Identity
One of the common misunderstandings men have about fatherhood is that it is a phase of life or a mere role temporarily occupied. The reality is that when men become dads, they are transformed and take on a new identity that they maintain eternally. By helping dads understand that fatherhood is less about what you do and more about who you are, they can clearly see their purpose.
Relationships
Fathering Our Future emphasizes the importance of establishing and nurturing deep, lasting relationships with your children. By focusing on communication, grace, personal integrity, and faith, dads position themselves to be positive, influential voices in their children’s lives—not just when they are young but also as they mature into adulthood.
Mission
Fatherhood has a mission that is not always realized, and it is much more than raising and providing for children. The mission of fatherhood is to equip and disciple our children to be a part of God’s mission in a greater capacity than ourselves. When dads clearly understand their mission and focus, they have the vision to fulfill it.

Founder
I am Anthony Vandagriff. I am certainly not the perfect dad, but I am trying to be better each day.
My amazing wife and I, have four incredible children, and I am convinced that being a dad is the most fulfilling thing I have ever been privileged to do.
In 2021, I was inspired to start Fathering Our Future. This has been an opportunity for me to grow and to aide other dads on their fatherhood journey. I continually look forward to see what God is doing with this effort and how fathers and families are being impacted.
